As seen in his pedigree above, Boy Wonder comes from an exceptional line of competitive show jumpers. His parentage is directly represented in the amazing feel he gives over the jump: he is bold, uphill and scopey. However our favorite traits are his happy-to-go-to-work ethic and capacity to learn.

After careful discussion with vets, we have restricted Boy Wonder's competitive career due to an injury sustained as a 3 yr old in pasture. Sadly jumping big jumps repetitively puts too much stress on the injury and is more risk than we'd like to take. He is sound, and it is our priority to maintain his health and happiness into his elder years! Instead of retiring him completely, we locked into his lovely mind and versatility. He has become any rider's dream adventure buddy. You may still see us at the occasional clinic, doing some smaller competitions, OR on another one of our adventures including bridleless/saddleless/liberty, skijor events, mountain camping, roping, cattle gathering, trail obstacles, he even helps me halter break wildies!

Boy Wonder’s oldest offspring are coming 7 years old and you may begin to see them around the show circuits! To all he has passed on jr/am-friendly temperaments, balanced and uphill gaits, his lovely expression, rock solid conformation, and excellent aptitudes for jumping. Wonder tends to produce taller models than himself with good bone, good feet and strong backs.

The repro vet describes Wonder as an “overachiever” in the collection department in regards to count and activity. We have great results with his chilled fresh semen, as well as his frozen!

2025 LFG Stud fee $900 plus cost of collection (~$300, we charge exactly what the vet charges us). Booking fee is $200, included in the stud fee.
2025 Non-LFG frozen $450 per dose, $700 for two doses.
